Gamma Pegasi (γ Peg) is a star in the constellation of Pegasus. It also has the traditional name Algenib; confusingly however, this name is also used for Alpha Persei. It is known as 壁宿一 (the First Star of the Wall) in Chinese.
Gamma Pegasi is a Beta Cephei variable star that lies at the lower left-hand corner of the Great Square of Pegasus. Its magnitude varies between +2.78 and +2.89 with a period of 3.6 hours. It is 335 light-years distant and belonges to spectral type B2. It has a total luminosity of 4000 times that of the Sun with a radius of 4.5 times solar.The mass of γ Pegasi is 7 to 10 solar masses.

Eta Pegasi (η Peg) is a star in the constellation Pegasus. It also has the traditional name Matar (سعد المطر - lucky star of rain).
Eta Pegasi is of spectral class G2II-III and has apparent magnitude +3.1. It is approximately 215 light years from Earth. It has a close companion of class F0V. There are also 2 class G stars further away that may or may not be physically related to the main pair.


Zeta Pegasi is a star in the constellation Pegasus. It also has the traditional name, Homam("Man of High Spirit" or "Lucky Star of High Minded").
Zeta Pegasi belongs to spectral class B8 and is of apparent magnitude +3.4. It is approximately 142 light years from Earth.

Mu Pegasi (μ Peg / μ Pegasi) is a star in the constellation Pegasus. It also has the traditional name Sadalbari (arab. "luck star of the splendid one").
It has spectral class M2 and is of apparent magnitude 3.5.
Mu Pegasi is approximately 108 light-years from Earth. Coordinates (epoch J2000) are:

Theta Pegasi (θ Peg) is a star in the constellation Pegasus. It also has the traditional name Baham ("the livestocks").
Theta Pegasi is of spectral class A2 and has apparent magnitude +3.53. It is approximately 67 light years from Earth.

Iota Pegasi is a star located within the Constellation Pegasus. It is about 40 light-years from Earth. Its Right Ascension is 22h7m0.7s and its Declination is +25°20m42.0s. Iota Peg is a what is called a multiple star. This means there are 3 or more stars located within this system.
Iota Pegasi A is a yellowish-white star somewhat brighter than the sun. It and the dimmer Iota Pegasi B rotate with a period of about 10 days.
